DENNIS F. STRIGL
Denny Strigl is the retired president and CEO of Verizon Wireless. He is widely recognized as one of the most prominent architects of the wireless industry in the United States. During his tenure in the wireless industry he led phenomenal growth companies from a fledgling start-up, Ameritech Mobile, in 1984 to the largest wireless company in the United States, Verizon Wireless.
Upon Strigl’s retirement, Verizon Wireless had grown to a company with over 87 million customers and annual revenues totaling more than $62 billion. During his tenure, he oversaw the acquisition and integration of over a dozen major companies.
